Legal
Terms and conditions.
Last updated September 2, 2026. These terms cover this website, the free resources on it, the Checkup, comments, bookings, and event registration. Paid engagements and programs are governed by the written agreement we sign with you, and where that agreement differs from this page, the agreement wins.

Agreeing to these terms
By using bussco.com you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. If you are using it on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that company.
Using the site
You are welcome to read what we publish, share it with attribution, and apply it inside your own business. Please do not resell our materials, present them as your own, republish full articles without permission, scrape the site at a scale that affects other readers, or attempt to access parts of the site that are not public.
Free resources and tools
Worksheets, frameworks, downloads, and the Bussco Checkup are provided as they are. They are instruments for thinking, not professional advice about your specific situation, and they do not create an advisory relationship. The Checkup gives you a starting point based on the answers you give it. It is not a valuation, an audit, or a guarantee of any outcome. What you get out of any of it depends on how you apply it.
Comments and anything you post
You keep ownership of what you write, and you give us permission to publish it on the site alongside the article you posted it on. Comments are moderated and we may edit, decline, or remove anything that is abusive, misleading, promotional, or unlawful, without owing an explanation. Do not post confidential information about your company or anyone else's.
Bookings and events
A time you select is held for you when you submit the request and is confirmed by email. Slots are limited and are allocated in the order requests arrive. If you need to move or cancel, tell us as far ahead as you can and we will accommodate you where the calendar allows. If we have to reschedule, we will offer you the next available time or, for a paid session, a refund. Free events may be recorded, and we will say so before the session begins.
Paid engagements and programs
Fees, scope, deliverables, schedule, payment terms, cancellation, and refunds are set out in the agreement for each engagement or program. Pricing shown on this site is indicative of typical engagements and is not an offer. Nothing on this site creates a contract on its own. An engagement begins when both sides sign.
Confidentiality
What you share with us during an inquiry, a call, or an engagement stays between us. We do not name clients or share their numbers publicly without written permission. Where an engagement calls for it, we are happy to sign your confidentiality agreement.
Intellectual property
The Bussco name, the site design, the frameworks, and the written material on this site belong to Bussco. Work produced specifically for you during a paid engagement is addressed in that engagement's agreement, which typically gives you full use of the deliverables while Bussco retains its underlying methods and templates.
No guarantee of results
We give you our honest read and our best work. We do not promise revenue, growth, funding, or any other business outcome, because those depend on decisions and conditions outside our control. Any examples or figures on this site describe past situations and are not a forecast for yours.
Liability
Bussco is not liable for business decisions made on the basis of published material, free resources, or Checkup results. To the extent the law allows, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost opportunity. For paid work, our liability is defined by the agreement covering that work. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Availability of the site
We aim to keep the site up and accurate, but we may change, pause, or remove content and features at any time, and we do not promise uninterrupted access. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for what is on them.
Privacy
How we handle the information you give us is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the courts of New York have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in. We may update these terms as the business changes, and the current version always lives on this page with the date it took effect.
Need the detail?
If you are reviewing terms ahead of an engagement, ask and we will send the full agreement before anything is signed.
